Why not instead of focusing on gravity, look at electrostatic attraction?
Here's why:
we already have electrons.
Most of the particles people want to have attraction between are things like dust and water that IRL are affected( like rubbing a plastic ruler on a jumper and using it to change the course of water trickling from a tap.)
Electrostatic forces (unlike gravity) do not have to be infinitessimitely small on the scale of tpt.
