    Some particles, like pions, are also their own antiparticle.

    It is possible to sneeze with your eyes open (and not pop out).

    Also there are mental illnesses associated with people on the internet who appear to be trolls, or grammar nazis... and they are genuin disorders (certainly existed before the internet) :P

     It is impossible to fold any piece of paper by half more than 7 times, irrespective of it's size.

    A car called SSC Bloodhound (which is still being constructed) can go faster than the speed of Sound.

    actually it depends on the thickness:size. If you had a sheet that was half as thick as the sheet you used to fold 7 times, but it was the same size, it should be possible to fold it 8 times.
    Cool fact - because paper folding is exponential, if you could fold a piece of paper 42 times, it would reach the moon. :D
    proof:
    paper = roughly 0.1mm thick
    distance to the moon is about 384,403km
    so therefore paper is also .0000001km
    n = number of folds
    (.0000001 km)*2n = 384,403km

    2n = 384,403 km/.0000001 km

    n = log2(384,403 km/.0000001 km)

    n = 41.8058 -> 42
