suggested implementation of Protons

    I had an interest in the proton idea even after reading other posts, so I decided to formalise the suggestion. Originaly I was apealing to the members who wanted the proton to be realistic, or "correct", but the suggestions I have heard so far have been great whether or not they are realistic. If there is something that you want on the main post just say so, otherwise I suppose people will have to read through.

    And nmd - you have some great ideas. All we need now is to collect all of the better ones!

    troll idea: when prot hits phot, something funny happens, the prot kills the phot, the phot turns rainbow like isoz, and the next thing it hits will have its pt element no.changed by 1.

    e.g.dust truns into element #2 whatever it is

    @bimmo_devices I like this idea.

    I thought about the direct (proton only) version, and I thought it might be a bit too chaotic. It would make for creation of diamond, LOLZ and LOVE elements. It could skip some? Maybe we could stick to defined reactions.

    Maybe protons should be able to turn a powder material into their respective solid material (like BRMT -> BMTL, BREL -> (some electronic), BGLA -> GLAS), making them reverse the reaction of pressure.

    EDIT: Sorry if I (necro)bumped this...

    If the proton could pass through the powder, there would be a whole ray of solid material created, making the proton more useful.

     This is the kind of suggestion that gets added. Like the VIBR suggestion. :)

     Yup, they should probably pass through all powder.
