That's nearly impossible. Thumbnails are made on a server, which means server will have to do twice work just for users which like art.

Can it be switched back? The majority of users hate the new system.

No :> Most of mods like it, and I can explain why.

Deco layer main purpose was to hide electronics, and other internal stuff. But as it was predicted, people started making pixel art and so on with it cause it became really simple. I don't say there was no pixel art before deco layer, but it required some effort to make it. Now we have deco layer disabled on thumbnails - electronics and other cool saves won't loose anything, and silly "chunk of diamond with deco" saves will look as a chunk of diamond, just as they should.

Lol, I am going to troll, and put up my art save now. See how you like beach, in the tiny box version!

Wonder if it has spread to forums..

I understand that but are there any other ways to reduce that problem? Is there a way to limit the use of large amounts of particular things such as DMND?

Surely there are, but this solution is really wise, I think. Hope "artists" will actually do something, except of using TPT as MS Paint.

I'm no developer but could you make a code that puts a complexity limit on deco so that you can use it just enough to hide electronics and whatnot but not enough to cover a large amount of material.

I don't have the link of deal with it dog, but I would post that image if I would have the url.

Just do the art in gimp/mspaint or any program suitable for that.

You're kidding me right? What exactly is changing the thumbnails going to do? It'll just encourage people to click on the art saves you hate so much, so they can see what they look like with deco :/
