@GreekGuy(View Post) Aw hell nah There's alot of free tutorials on the internet, and if you dare, you could torrent ebooks. Also you won't need to understand all the 864 pages. Also the best way to really remember what you read is to try it, code it and see what it does.
@GreekGuy(View Post) I'm not saying that it's not good, I'm saying that you could learn without paying a single cent ( Well internet and electricity aren't counted, obviously )
True, but I can't access my computer or the Internet all the time. This would allow me to learn in the free time during school. Also, this has everything in it that I need. Using the Internet would be using bits and pieces of information that could be potentially hard to find. I've seen some of the good turtoriols on the Internet and it seems that they start to charge as you progress.
Good news guys, I have updated my computer to OS X Lion and and running XCode. I am embarking on learning C and then progressing to Objective-C and Cocoa.
I might call the app iOS Powder. I will code it from scratch and sell it for my own profit. For 1 dollar, Apple takes 40% of my income. Hopefully, I will beable to use my income to pay most or all of the cost of my college education.
