I wish that I could see into the infrared and ultraviolet parts of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Granted, but the ultraviolet light's intense colors burn your eyes out.

I wish to be stupid.

You become stupid. So stupid, in fact, that your brain begins to fail with every thought you have; it simply can't handle processing more than one thing at once. As you slowly sink to the ground, suffering from suffocation, a massive heart attack and failure of the nervous system, your last thought is of confusion (not formed into proper English).

 

I wish I had a better computer.

You get a computer that is so good, it can run an artificial intelligence program and eventually kicks you out of th house. 

 

I wish I passed my yearly exams.

You pass them and are put into a high level class which you can't keep up with and fail.

 

I wish that chicken wings were free.

Hundreds of millions of chickens are slaughtered daily. Within a few weeks there are so few left, they are put under an environmental protection law. You now cannot legally purchase them.

 

I wish we had infinite chickens.

We have infinite chickens but the crowd out the world and kill off humanity.

 

I wish we had a small supply of chickens that would replenish infinitly.

Granted. In order to guarantee reproduction even if they were the only remaining chicken, they have to reproduce asexually. As a result, mutations quickly spread.

 

I wish for a decently-sized, personal supply of chickens.

Granted, but a wolf gets in and kills them all. You find out you have no chickens. You die.

 

I wish that potatoes could fly.

 

Granted, but the world gets plagued by flying potatoes and you are lynched for wishing them upon the world.

I wish that I had a decently sized amount of invincible chickens.
