The world was supposed to end in 2000. In 2009. In 2012. Now they say it'll be 2014. The truth is that when the Sun runs out of hydrogen for fusion, it starts expanding, turning into a red giant and by expanding, it takes in all planets until Mars. Then it explodes. ^^

the sun will never explode... it's way to small. It will turn into a white dwarf, and then, if they exist as it's not proven yet that the do, it will turn into a black dwarf. You are right though about it expanding until it reaches Mars.

Lol, you really think we dont know what the water cycle is? and that would be the least of our problems if the sun explodes, and by then we wont be burning anything for energy, just solar electrolysis and hydrogen fuel cells. and by the time the sun explodes, it would have engulfed earth in its fusioney power.

you're thinking of a supernova, which is when a sun explodes then implodes, forming a black hole, but our sun is much too tiny to do that. -
