where is everyone?
Right here.
"After that Gustavo guy blew up the northern sector of the base, I was moved back with Sorax and Kiliari. Sorax told me of the weird parasites he found in Kiliari's wounds. He seemed worried, and after I studied them a little, I was too. Those things inject seeds into the circulatory system of the host and they can clog up arteries and veins. The plants looked just about ready for fecundation and injection, so we had to come up with a cure as fast as possible.
Like every other plant, they had lots of water in them. So I just placed Kiliari's infected leg into a small case where I lowered the temperature just enough not to freeze his leg, but enough to slow down the plants. We check everyone else for infections and quarantine the lab where Kiliari is. These things are serious, but I think a cure can be made. The things can be weak to anything that can absorb water, since their water-resources are so tightly controled. Much to Kiliari's disapproval, I thought that leeches or spiders could capture the crabby-planty... things... and kill them before doing too much damage. Now we can only wait and hope that the infection gets better.
Meanwhile, in my lab, I've finally finished working on my new gadget. It looks like a pair of red-tinted visors, with a small cord-shooter attached to the side and one robotic-glove, both of which are inter-connected. The visors allow me to see better (I'm terribly short-sighted on the right eye) and have a far more specific interface of what's going on around me. It allows me to see a detailed diagram of my body, showing which areas are damaged or not, allows me to have a 360 degree field of view, so nothing can sneak up on my while wearing them, via few well-placed cameras, give me some detailed percentages on my ammo, current health statistics, alert me weather someone's outside my field of view and even cast a hologram, from a mini-computer located somewhere on the left lense. The cord-shooter, if fired, would do very little damage, but that isn't even its job. Upon collision with the object, it will collect genetical and atomic information about it and send it towards my robot-glove. Using the glove, I can manipulate the object via either sending some gravitational bursts, in order to change its atomic structure (i.e. turn helium into hydrogen), make things 'float' or even cause a small nuclear explosion. I don't plan to give that technology to anyone, since I've had some encounters in the past over powerful tech being stolen and used for 'purposes other than the ones intended'."
i didnt know you had them - its natures fault
wow.........bad sport...........there will be a cure.
so im basicly not alowed to participate
Please don't leave :'(
The infection is probably gone by now, since I've developed an anti-venom.
(I'm HitlerSucks' alt, but shhhh... I want to participate too)
"My name is Vinir. I have done many things wrong in the past, but those are left behind, we don't talk about them, I am a changed man now. To try my best to repair the mistakes of the past, I joined the Terran airforce and soon became a fighter-ship pilot, along with my friend Tokie and my pet snake Polli. I have never studyied any of them, but with combat experience I've become a master of aerodynamics and basic physics, along with knowing the exact weak-points of every Harridan, Joolian or Wraith ship. We're in air-squad 09 and to deal with the war with the Harridans, we've been transported to outpost 2 on the Moon, under the control of our allies, the Lunar Republics. We're supposed to meet commander 'Mortem' and 2nd in charge Kiliari tomorrow once we reach it.
Our fighter is one that we affectionatly called 'Sinistre'. It is a medium-weight fighter, only about 4 meters wide and 7 meters long. It has a laser cannon mounted on the belly and a heat-seeker launcher on the wings. It uses a nuclear engine, or an ion one in case of emergency."
