Bad:
Hypercam is good if you actually have a paid version of it. Otherwise, the free version is awful.
Camtasia is the same story. (Actually, it still sucks for recording in the full paid version)

Good:
Fraps is great, but you can only record 30 seconds at a time with the free version. (it's not hard to hit record again when you hit the 30 second mark, however there is a watermark that appears at the top of the screen)
WeGame is pretty fair. Has good and free recording software, but it works more like a YouTube ripoff.
