Un-Heatable Cooling Object

I like it. I think it would be pretty useful. I could keep bunkers cool with it, without worries of GOL going crazy and taking over when bombed.

Another fun thing is nan and inf. You have to do "!set temp (nan or inf here)" and you get an infinite cooler (nan) or an infinite heater (inf). Does crazy stuff, especially nan. Doesn't save though, so you can't use it for your purposes.

for your laser you might use pump and void. if you lower the temp of pump to a very low temp it almost functions the same as VAC without heating up.

You can't really make a cooling system that can't heat up. :( It's not feasibly possible within the current constraints of the game.

The best you can do is carefully design it so that the hot and cold parts have enough buffer than the one does not fry the other. Or you could use Shield or Insulation to keep the heat from ever even touching the important electronics :P

nan is a cooling system that can't heat. But I guess it's kinda crazy, and would be a terrible thing to use for any reason.

The !set temp nan thing I mentioned earlier in the thread. It makes anything infinitely cold, and anything that touches it becomes infinitely cold. There is no way to heat it.

...Oh. lol, yeah. That's not a good way to make it happen though :P
