So your gigabytes are bigger? Also, gigabytes prefer to be called little gigabytes, not small gigabytes.

I'm not exactly sure what you're suggesting but multi-layering and 3 dimensional workspaces have been suggested and shot down many times. It would lag to hell. And a gigabyte is always a gigabyte.
