    some competitions involve the games on msn. are they on irc? viruses are not the only reason i'm using msn, but also the better features. another reason is msn is free. there are more reasons i use msn, and i can't name them all, as i am still discovering (and learning) the new features of msn 2011, since i upgraded the other day.

    Most if not all irc clients are free, you can get those games with bots

    well duh, msn is NOT IRC, IRC is chat only, with a few chat bot games, its not meant for fun and games. if you want just a plain chat, IRC is the way to go, but for games and fancy features, use whatever.
    also IRC itself it free, there ARE a few pay clients which is stupid, there are plenty of free ones too.
