Why is everyone the grammar police on powder toy

The Powder Toy is an educational program. Therefore the forums is also an educational... 'program'.
The Forums teach you how to use the English you learnt at school! :D

Most grammar is taught to you by 5th grade. Things like periods, commas, capital letters, quotes etc. Just because you are away from school for three years is no excuse to forget grammar (plus you are not retaught grammar in high school, you are expected to know it already). Also, stay away from slang such as "outta". Use "out of" instead.

It is obvious you know how to write, you are just being to lazy to capitalize your letters and use periods.

Try earlier, I learned grammar in first grade. I then proceeded to learn cursive in second, story writing in third, more cursive in fourth, we won a trip to Disneyland in 5th because our report on the Burrowing Owls was so good (:D), sixth they stopped teaching for a bit, and 7th and 8th were both review.
Or am I just smarter than you all? :D

That sounds about right. (not the smarter than you all part)

I also found sixth grade was a pause in learning. For some odd reason it was so much easier than fifth grade.
