I thought about that, but PTCT/NTCT don't work for me.

Yea. Maybe Simon could get a whole team of people working on the PT as a whole.

Simon can make a repository (Git, Bazaar) and anyone would be able to fix bugs or add new features (discussed on forum of course).

again. implementing "real" PSCN and NSCN is nearly impossible from what ive heard.
If u have problems making Gates without "real" PSCN/NSCN try this:
    http://powder.hardwired.org.uk/View.html?ID=2754
I use NTCT, PTCT, NSCN, PSCN and Metal there to build NOTs (here i used a detectorwall), ANDs, ORs, and XORs (which isnt mine). in addition to that u can build Flipflops with them.

    Why impossible?
And I have no problems making gates, I'm just willing NSCN and PSCN act as in real life.

I have made multiple bricks of this mixed metal just because they make great structures, I recently smelted a building and then melted sand into the windows which formed glass

It is EXTREMELY difficult to melt and cool these metals without the use of the HEAT and COOL tools

Well, I guess that's what they are for.
