I've been learning the new engine more and have done a simple learning game + fiddled with the 3D a bit. I'm still working on it.
I'm working on fixing the performance, back in Polycode.
Another update! I finally made myself a comfortable setup and I'm rewriting Particl3D, this time with actual Lua skills. Still in Polycode.
Nice! I played a lot of FSG3D, and I think this will be good. (If you can make it as lag free as FSG3D, which was technically made using an art software programming tool)
