A way to not power CRAY diagonally

    How about CRAY will not fire diagonally if:

    It is sparked by INWR, has a tmp2 > 0, AND doesn't have ctype SPRK?

    It's kind of specific, but I REALLY want INWR to have the same effect with CRAY and DRAY, because it makes more sense.

    I hate how hard it is to make new features without creating new elements, because it has a high chance of breaking old stuff.

    how about BMTL its kinda simple and not specific and never used before so it wont break anything.

     Except itself. Well, at least it's not like glass...

     Anyway, BMTL just seems like a random choice. It has no other electronic properties (which is actually good, though), Unlike INWR, which makes sense because it's insulated.

    It's fine if it doesn't use INWR, but of all the metals to use, BMTL seems to make the least sense.

    What about IRON?

    Sure, IRON is fine with me.  How about BMTL makes CRAY act like my ERAY request?  that would make sense being "broken" ~ deleted/erased.

    In fact a no diagonal delete all with tmp and tmp2 functions as normal (how many pix/how many to skip).

    I believe CRAY is Create RAY.  It would seem to round out the function to have a full delete mode like that.

    Ok, but I don't think it should be able to remove diamond. It's bad enough that DRAY can overwrite DMND.

    I really wish DMND was more useful in electronics. For example, it should block CRAY and DRAY, no matter what they are sparked by, so we don't have to use walls.

    I still don't really like the idea of using BMTL, maybe CRAY sparked by IRON could act as Erase Ray if the CRAY has ctype SPRK.

    Or, instead of using different conductors, changing CRAY's life could control this stuff.

    For example, life=0 would be normal, life=1 could be "no diagonals" mode, life=2 could be Erase mode, and new modes could be added later without any chance of breaking things.

    the point is to be able to over write EVERYTHING even DMND.   you dont have to use walls.  set the tmp and tmp2 properly and your fine.

    Iron and sprk would be cool but it has to delete DMND also.  not walls but ALL elements.

    The point of diamond is to be indestructable.

    Anyway, I have an idea for using life:

    life=-1: No diagonals

    life=0:normal

    0<life<256: CRAY will replace that element with its ctype (or delete if ctype=SPRK), and won't go diagonally if sparked by INWR

    additional modes can be added below -1 (or above 255)

    examples of other modes:

    -only firing in a certain direction

    -firing at a certain angle no matter what side it was sparked from.

    Right.  if some one makes a CRAY(SPRK) "laser"  we will all down vote it because it will be stupid and that will be the end of it.  its for practicallity in the creation of more sims.  and if DMND is indestuctable then why can I push it off the screen with PSTN?  It will be awesome.  I promise.  It wont be an issue.  adaptive machines and electronics.  wiping the screan clear in an instant.  this will make for awesomeness we have not seen before kid.

     OK. maybe that can be life=-2

    It will be like FILT, with different tmp modes (but with life)

    Also, CRAY(SPRK) "lasers" already exist
