I, personally, would love this idea. But, as many other new people have done in their first days on tpt, I applied to groups, unknown to me, that had no active members left. So, my only applications I can send are forever trapped in the purgatory of idleness.
Personally I think Brilliant Mind of the Navy. Is the last group stronghold left as of today's standards. Also 2012 or so groups started dying off going inactive. Also I'll kickstart The Resident Evil Fan Club again. Also Brilliant Minds of the Navy is kind of inactive.

BMN is the most active group. So if what we've got is inactive, then screw me 6 ways from Sunday.
I really can't wait until Simon is back so he can remove the limit as it is enfuriating when you make a registration, then join 2 others but you can't join a third because your registration on the first group has not been responded to and probably will never be responded to because the damn owner is dead!
Having the ability to cancel group requests, remove your own group and having the ability to register from a group (it's available, but it doesn't work) is better.
I'm sure none of that will happen, but I'm just saying what I think it more useful.
Edit: "What I think is more useful"
When I had to, the website let me cancell a registration, that's how I got into BMN.
Yes, but once you fill out on group requests, you cant cancel them for some reason.
