Starting to compile/mod

How? One other question... where do I right click to open new document? everywhere I try concerns the actual file I'm right clicking. Theres no where else to right click other than the files themselves. (Files being the elements opening to info and code)

Maybe you should learn some basic coding skills and computer skills before you jump into this. Codecademy is a good site to learn the basics.
