Well I suppose I should take this opportunity to showcase one of my latest creations. In this abstract artwork, you can see a figure who has made use of a watering can to supply the local rose flowerbed with water. The man had walked not too far to transport the water from the nearest tap to the flowerbed, but it did take effort. I chose the stance very specifically in order to convey this subtle message. During the time of the artwork, it was also a long drought, so the man had to be rational with the water. He is clearly using a medium/small sized watering can here. Please take time to notice the grass has also been bleached and dried up by the sun. The location however is not as barren as you might think, but the earthy texture used depicts a dry crumbly soil due to the lack of rain. I think the contrast between the vibrant roses and the soil is symbolic of the man's dignity in this situation.
