I belive there is life on other worlds, possibly even in our solar system. But I think we would have to travel a long, long way to find any signs of multicellular life on other planets. As for spacefaring life (because the terms 'sentient' or 'intelligent' apply to many nonhuman species), I would say there is probably only one or two civilizations with space travel at any one time in any one galaxy. "Aliens" are probably far ahead of or behind us in technological and social level, the chances of them being within 1000 years of our development are slim.

Since when? I'm sorry to say this, but if you happen to find a life as evolved as ours, would you just go attack it for the win? I doubt thats what god wants.

    Now for the thread.

I believe theres life on other planets, after all, 1 in 9999999999999999999 would be awkward.

O_O. Do you have any info to back up that claim?

I do suppose that there could be -some- life on other planets, for there have been traces of life found on a comet that crashed into Earth, in a moon of Saturn and various exoplanets.

There could be hundreds or thousands of planets in our galaxy with life on them, we just haven't found them yet.
