     Actually, iOS probably woldn't be any faster, the iPhones prosesor is only 1 GHz, while some android phones are 1.5 GHz, and some even higher.

    The system on which App Store apps and Android apps are created is different.
    Android creates a new user for each running process.
    For each user, they have a Dalvik virtual machine running Java to run the app.
    iOS has a Obj-C base, but I haven't concentrated on learning it.
    Obj-C is compiled directly to machine code so it in theory should perform a lot faster than the average Java app.

    This game is advanced and slow even on extremely modern processors. There's not a chance it'll work on something portable without being a mock version that isn't even quite the same game.

     

    ...And if you need a fix -that- badly, there should be a few hundred falling sand apps for it already anyway. Doesn't need to be powder toy.
