    That was my thread, the reason I said necro was that it died more than a week ago but many users posted useless information after that. The last of these posts was 3 days ago but if you look to the last post I made on it, then you would see how long ago it was solved.

    Necroposting already is pretty much clearly defined, but here's a quick TL;DR:
    1. Always check the date for the last post.
    2. If the date is more than two weeks away, avoid posting.
    3. If you need to post, then post something useful or don't post at all.

    Better idea, don't post on a thread that's been revived, because if you do then your spamming and we get to ban you :D

    One of the main problems is back-seat moderation by members who don't fully understand what a "necro" is, if you do see a necro, you should inform a moderator only, don't reply as you only make the problem worse. Although there is no set date for a necro, it is any time a post that is either off topic, hijacking or in a topic that is no longer relevant.
