    I think this has potential, and as OP listed, uses. I'm not sure why this died. Can we get some input here from a dev or two? Is this possible?

    duh, your headphones wouldnt burn out, system, and even soundcard will not allow. I think this is a good idea, but it would be better if tmp2 corresponded to a midi note id, not a frequency
