@The-Con(View Post) you can't be half-athiest any more than you can be half dead. xD You're either athiest or not, there is not dotted line in the middle.
...Also, evolution has peanuts to do with athiesm or theism. It's just science, that the bible can't be taken literally in every corner is what makes even fundamentalism laughable in this day and age.
Saying atheism is bad is almost like racism; discrimination of another group of people just because they are different from you. There is a reason that we don't have slaves anymore in the 21st century, because society has evolved beyond that. In the end it's your choice, but please don't be a "religionist"
@THElagB3AST(View Post) Well, being an atheist can get you into trouble if you go to places controlled by religious extremists in the middle east. But there is nothing wrong about being atheist in the developed world.
Atheism is fine.... I'm an atheist, although according to many religions, atheism is wrong, but, if you're an atheist, said religions are wrong to you, so what does it matter?
@BloodLust(View Post) It depends on where you are. Places like Australia, christianity is almost gone. I know of 3 religious people... I know a lot of people. Christianity is fading out rapidly... at least in WA.
@Catelite By half-athiest, I don't mean I am neither or both, I just mean that I use science to explain something before religion. (I know I can't be religious and non-religous at the same time)
@THElagB3AST(View Post) i am an athiest. dont let people trick you into bieng religous unless you want to be. one person in my class thinks I am a robot because i have no religon ha ha ha.
I'm atheist and to be honest i don't really see the point of religion. If one of its fundamental points of being is making people better people by basically threatening them with eternal damnation then it shows it is harder and a more conscious decision to be agnostic or atheist than it is to be religious as many people would piss themselves over the whole hell thing so they just jump on the religious boat. I much prefer to see people do good things because they want to than doing them because they're threatened with hell etc if they don't, whether they be religious or atheist/agnostic. So in short, it's perfectly fine to be atheist as it is to be religious so long as your not a total d*** about it. p.s. Stephen Fry is atheist, need i say more?
