In Kerbal Space Program, the Kraken Warp Drive is an engine that acts like a warp drive. It uses one of the game's most well-known bugs, called the Space Kraken, which have varieties that do different types of damage, from your rocket tearing apart for no reason, to session damage that may require a restart of KSP to fix.
The most minor form of damage, that is, rockets tearing apart, is a result of phantom forces that act upon the separate parts of a rocket. This engine specially utilizes it to propel spaceships forward; so far, it is able to reach Eeloo (the farthest planet in the game) within 11 in-game hours.
Research on Kraken Warp Drives is currently faster than rocket science itself, as it is a new type of technology, and many kinds of changes could be made. However, creating a warp drive on your own is almost impossible without looking at the current engines, as an engine will require to harness this rare (if you don't mess around with KSP) yet potentially damaging bug in order to propel itself forward.
What do you think about it?
For the main research topic about the warp drives in KSP, here is the link:

Looks like you didn't quite read the thread.
This "kraken" warp drive of you does not use the kraken, it tries to retract the landing legs, but it cannot, thus pushing the craft forward.
It uses the force of the landing legs.
By the way, why is this in the TPT forum?
It's general. That's why, lol ;)
