If you mean it should nullify all incoming gravity, I agree. However, I'd like to know how the gravity map works first.

 You mean when you enable it? How it works it shows the stress "Lines" of gravity from say, GBMB. At the moment it starts exploding you will see :D

Gravity wall blocks gravity when the conditions are like this.(it blocks gravity from outside to inside the box)

ideally, gravity wall shouldn't disable Newtonian gravity from working at all inside a box but instead create a new gravity zone inside
