Relationship between stone and sand

Although sand is a smaller version of stone, they don't share much of a relation ship. I think that when the element "stone" is under pressure it should turn into sand, and when sand is exposed to negative pressures it should turn back into stone. The stone turning into sand would simulate erosion, while the sand turning into stone would simulate the force of compresson.

    What do you think?

Not a bad idea actually, makes sense. Small things like this are really nifty to have and easily implemented.

Makes sense, but I sense that people will dissaprove for the simple fact that it will break saves, but they need to realize that anything affecting known elements WILL break saves, no avoiding it.

Negtive pressure turning sand into stone dosn't make much sense, but the oter way round would be cool. May break  couple of my saves, but cool.

compression turns sand into stone, but it requires POSITIVE pressure. negative as well as positive can break stone. This idea requires some final touches.

I was talking about what happens in real life.

@greymatter (View Post) Ah yeah, that makes sense... hmm... I guess this idea would be more realistic if the pressures were swapped around.

But then positive pressure too breaks stone, and like you said, STNE is already a powder.
