Ants took over.

Ants recently have taken over my bathroom. Please list any and all viable solutions to the problem, because Im willing to try them all.
Things I have tried to get rid of ants:
Cornmeal- Falied. Brought more ants.
Orthoboric Acid- Success. Long term Fix.
Ant spray stuff- Works but not fir extended ammounts of time.
Ant baits- Work well but take a great deal of time to take affect.
Bleach(This is what I have used temporarily to kill them.) - Works, but only for about 1 hour. Instant death.
Help would be apreciated. Please.

Try Chalk/Limestone powder near their entrance ( If you know where it is ), it should repulse them a bit.

Have you tried fumigation? Just make sure to have you and your family wear gas masks while around your house, if it isn't a huge problem try calling a pest service (If you live in a house and not an apartment) and have them spray around your house. I live in Florida so I have tons of pest issues, so try also picking up some some ant poison packets to lay around your room.
Second thoughts: Fumigation is a bit extreme for just ants. -
Ask Xenocide to stop, Antb probably ordered them all to attack you. (lol xd).
Or maybe use those sticky things you catch flies with. Except surround it with golden syrup mixed with lots of sugar before hand. Perhaps, the same amount of sugar as you did with the GS.

Use dyamatacious earth. You can generally find it in swimming pool section of a retail store. It consists of very small microscopic silica crystals that are very sharp to an exoskeleton of an ant. As soon as an ant walks on it, it would get cut up and die due to losing its body fluids. It would generally take 1-2 days to see a noticable improvement in the infestation. After they notice a lot of their fellow family members are dying, they wont come back to the area that was previously infested.To apply, take the DME and place a little bit of it all along the walls and cracks. It is safe for pets, people, and it is all natural.
