Don't worry this isn't a bad idea, people just don't reply because the name sounds so confusing. Make the name simple and then get to the confusion later in the discription.

If your lighter doesn't work because of smoke, your lighter isn't realistic and will never work in real life. Make a new one that actually works and is realistic.
