Weight is hardcoded per element type, not per particle. I guess we could add some variations in it. Although we haven't touched the physics engine much in a long time, besides fixes.

And the cursor is needed anyway, because in other interfaces or when selecting elements you need it to know where you are clicking.

These are handled differently, they are hardcoded constants. I think it is best to leave the constants the same. Most reactions aren't designed for higher limits, and I could see a few reactions...
