Molten SALT is LAVA, not SALT. If you want to detect it, you'll need to have it looking for LAVA.    There is no way to detect based on the ctype of lava

That's odd ... so you get a blue screen? Can you give more of the message? It might say "memory read/write error", that's the most common. It could also say something else.  ...
