A lot of the elements actually do stuff without moving.  And a lot of elements don't have an update function (which means they won't literally cause any speed decrease, see DMND). ...

Also yeah POLR would be the only usable one here, in my opinion.  Or to have something like 1px tubes resetting photon speeds to forward instead of bouncing infinitely.

os.system is sadly a VERY very very very laggy way of doing this.   VERY.    mniip/The-Powder-Toy/note is the best yet.
