    the russians also heard of the idea and they made a design but theirs didnt have nearly as much sheilding. intresiting factiod: marine transports followed the aircraft so if it crashed it would secure it from civs from frining it and spys coming in even though people widely knew about the project

    In the cold war of the 1950s, the Nato developed plans for a Nuclerar reactor powered plane on a B-36 Peacemaker platform but will shill need future reasearch plans for it even to go through. Now they would probably choose a B-52 or 747 platform. or maba a large cargoplane.
