    Its the opposite.. first HL game was in 1997. Portal didnt existed back then.

    half life is for COD addicts. portal is for people who like strategy and a story.and if portal never was made then half life wouldnt exist

    I admit Half Life is awesome, but Portal has the btter back story/plot/characters.
