Hi. A star in a hypernova or a GRB is not compressed into a disk, it collapses into a neutron star or a black hole. Gamma-ray bursts are the most powerful explosions in the universe. -

if it is not a gamma ray burster, it will die in a super nova which contains energy equal to 100billion suns. it will become a white dwaf or a black hole -
