    Are you sure the save folder is alright? BTW, the .minecraft folder HAS to be in the right place. If you just want the saves, merge the old saves folder with the new .minecraft one.

    I already put the .minecraft folder and the laucher on a flash drive and opened it on my new computer but the "worlds" I ahve saved did not show up.

    @Heymac: You need to copy the .minecraft folder, as well as the game launcher. Type %appdata% in the search bar in the start menu, go to "roaming", and copy the .minecraft folder to the new comp's.

    I could play minecraft but it is on my old, slow computer and when I tried to transfer the files, my maps did not load.
