    and if you wait for a bit after turning on, the ray looks like an optical illusion (positive comment).

    Yeah nice. but there is a little problem: I found that when you turn it on and then spark the red button, it only turns the GPMP off. do something about it! appart from that, good work! +1

    if you get rid of the quartz and the clone in it and put some invisable right at the end of the barrel something interesting happens

    The lava gives it a nice effect, it's cool. Add two pixels of FILT at the end (before the quartz) to make it look really nice! It's just like the heat ray from War of the Worlds!
