    Hitler was elected democraticly, granted many resented hitler, but for much of depression era Germany, Hitler's facist methods and scapegoats looked pretty good. I do agree with Euanwhitehead though, the past is the past and Nobody wants to revisit WW2. (I should hope...)

    @Euanwhitehead being part german, you should already know that the nazi regieme took over germany against the will of many germans. People do acknowledge the fact that that was quite a while ago, but that doesn't make them any less horrible. Since most new threats are controversial, this is probably the best choice.
