    yea, magma is hotter and is inside the volcanoes "lungs" before it erupts. as soon as it hits the air, it turns to lava because it begins to cool off.

    magma turns into lava when it goes into a volcano yes but its the same concept and there really isnt a difference.

    Wrong, magma is lava when it is in a volcano (I think).
