    Actually the air is sucked into the front, with it the oxygen. Then is mixed with the fuel and ignited in a combustion chamber. The resulting expansion of gasses from the heat inside the engine drives a turbine which then spins the compressor and intake fans. Because of the seemingly empty air flow chambers its obvious that this is a bypass engine
