  also the sperm are right there above the ovum or "mother cell" so it shouldn't be hard to imagine that fertilization requires sperm from a father and if thats not the case an anonymous male eg. sperm banks.

  also im pretty sure asexual reproduction in females can only be possible in a species of monitor lizard and few select animals and simple organisms. anyway asexual reproduction would mean we are all just female clones of our previous generations, which leaves no room for adaptation nor mutation. which is bad for any species.

  each parent cell carry about 11-12 gene pairs each, to sucessfully impregnate the subject you need to have 23 gene pairs in total, no more, no less.

  actually this is a zygote or earlier form of the embryo, it is a FERTILIZED egg cell, so YES you do need a father if you dont have one 1. you were lied to 2.you were adopted or 3. you have no idea how conception works.
