This is a rough model of the Schrodinger Model. It has the orbitals, but the nucleus should be much smaller than shown here. I wish I had a better candidate for electrons to make a more realistic model.

    I know, and it would be even more accurate to break up the 8 electrons on the second evergy level to their 2s2 and 2p6 orbitals; however, This is a more qualitative model than quantitative.

    there should be only 2 electrons in the first ring and 8 in all te others
