OberonPermafrost: a collision would NOT explain why there are so many planets, the star could have became a larger star, or some of that material would be in unstable orbits and stuff
Simple anwser, the planets are kinda tiny
why did so much material aggregate as planets rather into the star, and with that many terrestrial bodies the high metallicity would mean that this star is even more of a spectacle because it formed as a K-G (i can't tell) type and already is pretty much fully formed without any unstable orbits and what not, along with some life which is something for what can be assumed to be a ~population III star, although correct me if any of my points are wrong
Its a crazy system because it formed with a lot of material(because of the collision)
is this an fever dream? but this is nice +1
BOMBOCLAT why are there so many planets
