Before you downvote: There is no timer/wifi/trigger that this uses. If you don't believe me, just let it sit. It won't explode. Then drop your own dust particles, or add AIR, and it will explode.

An interesting observation from playing with this technological concept... ONLY Solids (ex. C4, C5, FUSE)/H2 can be used as explosives. Everything else emits some pressure, even if it is less than 0.01. I tried, in pause mode, to build a little metal bomb and fill it with, for example, plutonium; the QRTZ crumbled, even if you just mass-filled the bomb and you could not see ANY pressure (again, not even 0.01). This is an ingenious concept, but, sadly, can only be used with a few materials to act as explosives.

Its not timed. to test this i opened the simulation and let it sit for hours on end. guess what happened? IT DIDNT GO OFF

I suppose when this is referred as a concept, it indeed deserves to be on the front page.

Guys, its not fake. I can prove it. Open a new PT creation. Put some QRTZ. Then, cool it using COOL to -273.15. Drop a pixel of dust at the other end of the map, and the QRTZ will explode.

IT IS NOT FAKE! if it's faked, where's the timer? There is no "timer" pixel. ANY amount of pressure will set it off

the reason a spark sets it off is because when you spark metal you generate presure that is enough to break super frozen quartz

so bloody fake this thing..if u unpause and not spark it will explode anyway cuz its timed

the quartz isnt ultra sensitve put metl under the dust and when the dust stops moving it explodes

Actually I take it back, since I can speed up the explosion. I'd say it is more of a faulty landmine, but still a landmine.
