    After some testing, I have realised that some ship's weapons just stop working when the EMP is used.

    The phazon goes right through armor and destroies what it protects. The pulse cannon melts the best armor, the grenade launcher shoots grenades, and the beam... I'll let you find out.

    Try the phazon with ambient heat. It's ten times stornger that way.
