This is the normal (Gaussian) distribution which was created on tpt before with water by erwins_cat, but mine is with electricity only which made it a bit tricky ;)

the reason it can't be perfectly random, is because if the mercury moves completely randomly, it will most of the time balance out due to probability and end up near the middle.
