I think I just got how this works. When a dmg particle is on the dmnd it slides right, but because there is another dmg it pushes it right. That repeats until there's nothing to push and then repeats again when the dmg particle fall futher down. This effect doesn't work on other particles because they fall at random speed while dmg always falls at a constant speed.
