    Try adjusting the DLAYs. I think one of the two currents controlling the SWCH is a bit faster, so the SWCH remain on for some period of time before the NSCN catches up again and the light turns off. By the way you can also use a NOT gate instead. (Maybe works. I'm not that good at electronics either) (Sorry for long comment)
