    no one's ever done this but eric laithwaite has proven the effects of oscillating electromagnets on completely random metals including aluminum so it should be possible to make perfect electrostasis with the same technique

    theoretically, material can be kept in "electrostasis" by using oscillating electromagnetic repulsors (ie lightbulbs but electromagnetic radiation instead of normal light) lining the inside of a sphere, or more easily a 3d shape made by overlaying hexagons on each axis and connecting the points on the very outside surface.
