a small mass extinction event is occurring across Varne as plants begin to die due to lack of sunlight causing oceanic and terrestrial ecosystems to collapse, this will decrease game and fish populations while crops are becoming far more difficult to farm due to low temperatures and lack of sunlight. All nations should probably be making preparations for the famines that may soon begin.

Expand along the coast and into the plains, creating new towns in strategic locations, like mineral outcrops. Send scouts out to map further regions. Begin mining and quarrying for minerals. Trade with the Warden Republic, especially for metals like copper, iron, or gold. Start farming mushrooms. Build a port in the north. Build aqueducts for irrigation and water transport.
